FRENCH IS FUN !
Use French whenever and whereever you can
Even if, some ideas might sound silly, but at this point is just to show you how you can esily introduce French into EVERYDAY situations
Thinking about French everyday will help you to learn how to think in French.
1/ Frenchify your home and office!
Surround yourself with French:
-make French labels for your furniture
-make fench label for your appliances
-make French label for the walls...
-buy or create French posters
-use a French calendar
2/ French first
-Make french the first thing you see when you connect to the internet
-Set something French as your internet browser's home page:
such as my site or mot du jour
3/ Practice your french
if you know other people who speak French, practice with them
-You and your roommate can declare Monday and Friday"French days", and communicate ONLY....in French
-When you go out to a restaurant with your spouse or friends, pretend you are in Paris and speak in French to each other ( You should, however, speak in English to the waiters and cab drive to avoid problem!!!)
4/ French lists
Need to make a list? Do it is French
-You can write your shopping list in French
-You can write your "to d" list in Frenh
if the oher people you live speak French, write notes to them in French as well
5/ Shopping in French
when you go shopping pratice your French with yourself:
-count your 4 apples, 6 cans of tuna fish in French
-Look at the prices and imagine how to say them in French.
6/ Routing in French
Think in French when preforming routing action
-when walking to the refrigerator THINK"J'ai soif!"
or
"Qu'est-ce que je vais manger?"
7/ Voacbulary building
-Keep a notebook handy, so that write down new words and keep track of ones you need to look up.
